"Yes, you have." He knew Alec was more than capable of keeping some sort of code of conduct, and he would if not for himself than to keep the integrity of what they were trying to form here inside the cafe for the others. A soft of safe haven, a means of a place for them to come to and meet, and perhaps continue their training so that they could not only maintain normalcy in a new place but perhaps have a fighting chance as well.
"Speaking of work..." He sat up after a moment, a slight wince at the sound of the other man cracking and popping his neck the way that he did. How that brought any sense of relief he was unsure, but to each their own as well. "I was thinking, we need to gather the others here, in the next day or two. I'm going to poke around and see if there are any actual...means of protection already offered here. I believe we could be something of a help, or a beginning if there isn't." Magnus worried about what the witches were capable of, having already seen some of their handiwork. Whether he admitted it or not, he didn't want to see anyone hurt and he was stuck in this now.
"Perhaps not let too many know what we're doing here just yet, but offer services if they are needed? I can always work with you, Jace, whoever to get any items we could for the basement so you guys can...do whatever it is you do." Workout, he was looking for the term workout and train but those were all things lost on him.
Leaning slightly he kissed against the man's shoulder before he was sliding out from beneath the sheets and walking across the room to find a robe to put on. "Does that sound like a wise option, to you?" He called over his shoulder, glancing to a reflection and seeing his eyes he would adjust them accordingly.
