I wish for the events in Cuba, on the beach, between the mutants and the humans, to be broadcast across the world. So that everyone, all humans and mutants, see what came of our attempt to help. So they can see how they turned on their own allies, and know that this is how they choose to repay generosity. I want all of them to know.

[knowing Magneto, it may not have been as simple as that. in the flickers of his memory, in those last moments leaving the CIA, when the Judge approached him, there were a lot of emotions. arrogance, scorn, contempt at the idea he needs a wish to do something he's fully capable of. saving mutantkind.

but when they said that... could he let it happen? could he let Charles Xavier go (to wish for a future he didn't believe in? to go out of this world? to go alone?)
