There are a lot of questions you probably won't get a straight answer to, even in your memories. You know you don't die, but you're not invulnerable, but maybe you're immortal. Why are you immortal? Have you always been immortal? How old are you? Do you age? And really, no matter how it is odds are it's going to suck, because one thing about being immortal is that normally, no one else is. And if you've lived for a while, odds are you've lost people.

So. You know, preparing yourself for sucky memories might be a great idea.
