I... like the night. I don't see as well as I could, and at night when the lamps are out and it's dark on dark, everything fades into one. I can't hear very well, so unless a noise is very loud or ... I guess if someone's come in to sleep next to me... everything else fades so it's me in darkness, edges blurring into nothing. I can't tell anything like that... nothing about myself. It's just the sense of me still breathing.

Sometimes it's hard for me to fall asleep... and sometimes I fall asleep when I don't mean to, but... I feel like if I took something to make me sleep... maybe it'd be harder for me to wake up. That'd be bad in an emergency. And... I don't want to go to sleep and be unable to wake up. That's scary. It's scary. I don't want it.
