Who: All regular Blanks
Where: In your dorms
When: Day 155 and 156
What:

[It doesn't really happen all at once, or to every dorm at the same time. But over these two days, you might spy a tiny spider slipping under the door. It is soon followed by several others, skittering along the floor, up the common room table and small cocoons of webbing are industriously opened. Almost as quickly and efficiently they scatter, vanishing.

If you missed this event... then perhaps you simply looked over and saw six small memory berries and the traces of webbing around them, fine threads catching the torchlight.]

((OOC: Two things! FIRST! Start your dorm's threads with [Your Team Name] for the sake of organization. SECOND. When you take your memories, ping Nishi with a thread link.))

*shakes his head*

No need to guess. But it didn't seem to poison Mitsuru.

*pats Mits on the back*

[Steps forward out of back-patting range.]

It was strange. It felt like it was, mine, but... some things about it didn't match what I've remembered so far.

Mm. I remembered having family that I know I didn't have.

I was at a formal dance, a bit like one I've remembered before. But at this dance, everyone was wearing masks, and behind them, the people weren't people, but some sort of mix of people and animals.

I was looking for a duke. I was there to kill him, to prove that they could be killed, the same as people could. To try to convince people to fight them instead of lying down and dying the way my family did.

Nobility. Part of whatever race it was that...

Yeah. Sounds a lot like the stuff from that first Wolf game. And like the judges.

I don't think they were judges.

I think... something about the memory reminded me a little. Of Surgeon.

Could be. I mean, this was the clue about us and Cepheus in the game:

"We're nearin' the border... more investigations have gone on, and I can hardly trust anyone now... The last investigator from Cepheus (A stalwart and strong people... I can hardly believe he was taken), they are inventors who have shunned the arts of magic for technology. They trade in metals and information, nearly an ally to all the nations present. How they test in the use of their arms, I have yet to see.... And none ever will) .. was well...

.. Well, he was found... or enough of him to identify of him. Poor bastard. Most of his face had been chewed off, and arms straight to the bone. Some swore they could see the scrape of teeth on the wrist bones but could find no animal to match what had been done to savage the poor man. Immediately, Monoceros was forced to leave at swordpoint, though none have told me why. Fear is so thick I could choke of it.

They say the whole last man of that violet banner was brutalized and killed in such a fashion, but I cannot say for sure that it was the case for my stomach had taken a sudden dislike to my rations and matters had to be attended to.

Will we even have enough strong swords to take the enemy? Their craft has already been slicing at us, taking the vitals.

In case the wrong eyes be seeing this, it's the last writin, I'm doing. Tonight, I'm takin' my meal with officers of--

I think it's a possibility.

We should finish taking the memories. See what else happens.

[You remember sitting on the edge of the field, gazing over the broken and flatten stalks. Carefully you stride out out into the rows, pacing around the dry irrigation ditches by habit. Carefully, you place an armful of the very best of the crop on one side of the field, then pace over to the opposite side, directly across from it, and place the very worst, wilted and mottled of the harvest.

With a quick prayer of fortune to the [Twins] you set the field ablaze, old stalks and offerings alike as your family had for generation. Destruction begets growth, after all.]

It was the end of the harvest season. I was laying out the best of the...grain stuff. And the worst, on the field. For the Twins. Like my father and his father had always done. And then I set the field on fire, with a prayer.
