Who: All regular Blanks
Where: In your dorms
When: Day 155 and 156
What:

[It doesn't really happen all at once, or to every dorm at the same time. But over these two days, you might spy a tiny spider slipping under the door. It is soon followed by several others, skittering along the floor, up the common room table and small cocoons of webbing are industriously opened. Almost as quickly and efficiently they scatter, vanishing.

If you missed this event... then perhaps you simply looked over and saw six small memory berries and the traces of webbing around them, fine threads catching the torchlight.]

((OOC: Two things! FIRST! Start your dorm's threads with [Your Team Name] for the sake of organization. SECOND. When you take your memories, ping Nishi with a thread link.))

Why would they give your team clothes from your memories?

The last time a game like that happened, people got back memories that weren't theirs.

[the look on his face clearly says that he's not sure and is only getting more confused here]

--w-well. If where I come from can have a creature that can kill and revive me over and over again, who's to say it can't have a giant, carnivorous bird-thing called an Orvi? Huh?

You're the only one who can answer that. What else did you remember?

Riding on the back of an Orvi, running from something and trying to get to shelter that the regeants of Lynx could provide.

[it's pretty half-and-half of whether he sounds confused or believes it's actually his memory]

Yeah, and it was in some place with a lot of black rock--stuff that could be used...

As you swallow the memory berry, you feel something in your stomach clench and your mind seems to fray at the edges for a split second as you experience the memory unfolding in your consciousness.

[["Come onnnnn," you manage to drawl out the complaint. Just the boots and greaves went up to your thighs, making you walk in a wide swagger. The helmet nearly obscured your vision entirely... and the breastplate... the breastplate you'd given up on and now dragged the heavy steel armor behind you. Any of this alone would have been strenuous, but keeping up with the Jiinay twins was an altogether different level of challenge. Your side is stitched and you breathe in heavy, raw gasps.

Martza and Uhna look at each other and giggle. The twins share a quick smile at each other then turn to you in practiced unison. "Buck up!" said Martza.

"It's officer training!" Uhna didn't quite manage to get it out without another giggle.

You groan, and glance at them. They can't really think you buy that...

But you drag the armor behind you, following them as they skip in merry twists down the country lane. They DID say they were going to marry an officer.]]

As you return, the memory settles, interlaced with the rest of your recovered life, as if that was just another part of the world and people you left behind. It's hard to shake any of the conviction that it was real and it had happened to you, any more than you would a normal memory.

[There is the gentle sound of a shuttle moving through taut thread, and as the memory settles deep, your eyes open to the familiar garments of your kin on both yourself and those around you, dyed in cool tones.

Lynx's clothing is deceptively simple-looking. The knee-length badgercroc wool coat covers both genders' bodies equally, its long sleeves and straight seams somewhat obscuring the lines (or curves) underneath. Its high collar has been piped, as have the thick cuffs at the end of each sleeve. There is no ornamentation otherwise, although the cuffs seem particularly well suited for a bit of creative embroidery, and the inside lined with soft spider-silk cloth. Two buttoned pockets are sewn into each side of jacket (for a grand total of four), but the soft inner fabric seems particularly well-suited for modifications. Surely more could be added with a little skilled workmanship. Lynx is nothing if not thorough about such things.

The rest of the outfit is relatively simple. A tight, high-collared shirt can be worn beneath the jacket by both men and women. Women receive a similarly-colored set of leggings and a knee-length skirt that just barely peeks out from under the long jacket; the men have a patching set of pants. A set of polished leather military boots and a sash round out the outfit for both genders, although the women's sash is of a length more appropriate for the waist than around the torso.]
