Game 89
Who: Everyone!
Where: Arena
When: Day 132, evening
What: Game time!

[The Call to the Arena today is the simple sound of hammer on metal. Rhythmic, tireless it's almost a marching tune to those who happened to hear and follow it.

When you enter the Arena bare land quickly gives way to drifts of snow and barren, snow-striped trees. The further you go in, the deeper and deeper the snow gets. By the time you can make out the broad, grinning statue on the throne between gusts of snow laden wind, the snow chest-deep on most.

In the center, at the statues feet are two very welcome things at this point: Fur wraps of some unknown white animal large enough to drape around you and a metal pot of hot chocolate and several ceramic cups.]

HA HA HA! Bit of an effort wasn't it? I had to get your blood pumping for this one! Everyone warmed up?

CEPHEON TRACTORFORT 'O DOOM + CATAPULT

[THE TRACTORFORT:

It is a ~masterpiece~ of fortitude! The walls have been built up and strengthened with fence posts, the metal panels from the tractor have been salvaged and packed into the front of the fort walls with water poured over to freeze and strengthen. Corn husks and stalks planted in the top of the fort walls reduce visibility and add a flair of style. The tires from the tractor have been added to the sides of the fort for no apparent reason other than to pay homage to the tractor which so nobly sacrificed its existence to the making of a fort and catapult.

Miscellaneous metal bits were implanted in the fort walls for style and fashion and because we felt bad leaving them out when all of their tractorpart friends were being put to such great uses.

THE ARMOR:

Grates from the tractor have been laced through with strips of material from the tractor seat to form workable shields to arm the TRACTORFORT's mighty defence force.

THE CATAPULT... coming soon to a descriptive comment near you.]

THE NOBLE AND MIGHTY CEPHEON ARTILLERY PLATFORM

[ BEHOLD the grand Catapult, a testament to the most admirable ingenuity that is Cepheon engineering. The main body has been constructed from the bare bones of the late benevolent tractor, with the main beam itself is of several long lengths of metal frame, tightly bound together for extra strength. Wires and an exhaust pipe form the roller-and-crock apparatus to draw the mighty machine, while fan belts cunningly wound to provide the tension necessary for achieving prodigious distances. The driver's backrest occupies pride of place and role as the bowl into which the most deadly projectiles will be armed. The entire machine itself is mounted on what was formerly the roof of the noble tractor-that-was, and plaited wires form ropes with which to drag the whole thing by.

[ Stacked on a smaller sledge, made from leftover frame parts and wiring, is a pile of frozen pumpkins. ]

[ Also, the pumpkins may in fact be internally loaded with a reasonably flammable quantity of fossil fuels. ]

[ Cepheon Motors would like to insist that the Noble And Mighty Cepheon Platform itself does not fail to local government fuel efficiency standards for this fact. ]

[Also, it looks something like this.]
