[The Call to the Arena today is the simple sound of hammer on metal. Rhythmic, tireless it's almost a marching tune to those who happened to hear and follow it.

When you enter the Arena bare land quickly gives way to drifts of snow and barren, snow-striped trees. The further you go in, the deeper and deeper the snow gets. By the time you can make out the broad, grinning statue on the throne between gusts of snow laden wind, the snow chest-deep on most.

In the center, at the statues feet are two very welcome things at this point: Fur wraps of some unknown white animal large enough to drape around you and a metal pot of hot chocolate and several ceramic cups.]

HA HA HA! Bit of an effort wasn't it? I had to get your blood pumping for this one! Everyone warmed up?

[The area opens up into what seems to be the backyard of someone's house. A fence block you from going inside, but you can make out shapes in the window beyond the blinds now and then. Otherwise, hanging from the roof, you see large sheets of frozen water, some tipped off in jagged icicles and a rake leans against the house nearby them. The yard is filled with fresh, untouched snow about thigh deep. And in the very center of the yard, there's a small wooden swingset and slide. From there, there's a clothsline running from the swingset to the house again. Bizarrely, it has unmentionables freezing on it.]
