Just Want the Night to End
Who: Kasper and Reggie
Setting: His Room, Late Evening
Even though Reggie hadn't seen it (and had barely even heard it), he was deeply disturbed by what had happened throughout the day. God only knew if Caroline had fallen or if she was pushed or something awful like that, but, other than coming out for some food and spending a little time in the courtyard, he hadn't really come out of his room for that day. It just...didn't seem like a good day to socialize for him.
He would have been perfectly happy to not see anyone that day, even if he was a social creature at heart. From one day of having to allow for fellow inmates to be put into stocks, to today finding out that one had died during some sort of escape attempt, he had to admit to himself that he was afraid of what the next day would bring. Could it get much worse than waking up to find that someone had died? Did he want to find out? Certainly not.
He had actually spent most of his time alone meddling with the cards that the doctor had given to him to work on his memory. The only times that he used to use cards was during some sort of poker game, but right now he was working on what probably accounted to being more similar to kids' memory games. He tried to keep himself from getting frustrated with it, but since he already was agitated, that didn't last for very long. One too many times of forgetting where the same card was and he got pissed, knocking the cards off his bed and onto the floor, finally laying down on the bed. He was starting to develop a headache, so fuck dealing with cards for right now.
He wasn't sure how late or early it still was, but he figured that, if he laid down for a while, the headache would go away and maybe he could do...well, he had no idea what, but something that night that might count as productive that wouldn't completely piss him off in some way or another.
