After having gotten her creativity out on the wall of the workshop, Kasper returned to her room to gobble up another one of those pain killers the doc had given him the day before. It was the last of the small few he had allowed himself to give her, the tracks on her arms giving a history of abuse away. It was understandable but after neglecting to keep it away from being in use as much as possible, it was beginning to ache again. Not as bad as the first day but after all that adrenaline had evaporated, the subtle pain was much more obvious, not to mention annoying.
Perhaps venturing back to her room was a little bit of a mistake. Her required task by the administration just caused a myriad of bad times. It might have just been her mistake for being unable to come up with anything reasonable for her on that damn poll. In an effort to forget about it, she decided to quickly leave from the dark hole of her room.
After locking her door for the first time since arriving, Kasper leaned over the balcony rail overlooking the courtyard. She tried to shake off the shroud of general awfulness that swept over her, taking her time with a cigarette as she just watched. Her gaze happened to stretch across the courtyard and a realization that the room right across from her had someone rather familiar in it.
With nothing better to do, she wandered over to the other side, flicking the butt of her smoke over the balcony as she came close to the door of room 20. Permission wasn't something she ever really was aware of and after coming to a stop, she looked down at the knob of the door before trying to open it. For whatever reason, it was unlocked and Kasper had no problem just walking in uninvited.
Finding the sleeping body of her partner from the escapade on her first moments in the building, Kasper grinned with delight. She approached the bed quietly, bending to crouch down, her knees cracking as she went. Level with his face, she blew a gentle breath in his direction.
