Background Taken and Held Rules Apply Credit World’s End is a panfandom game focusing on the survivors of destroyed worlds, and what they choose to do afterward. Some try to eek out a new existence at “The World’s End,” a world many of the displaced arrived at after the destruction of their home world. Others seek to combat what is commonly called “the darkness,” the eater of worlds, and prevent it from corrupting and destroying even more worlds. Some study “The Door” at The World’s End, and the machinery left behind by Ansem the Wise, hoping to gain information that may allow them to restore the lost worlds and those who lived there. The outlook is bleak, and oblivion waits just outside the door, but they aren’t called “survivors” for no reason, and there may be a way to fix this yet. But they’ll have to work with strangers to do it, if they don’t destroy themselves from within first. post comment

It is located adjacent to Lake Sunil and has a population of over seven million people. The politics of Eden has been dominated by controversy, corruption, and scandals. This political environment allows for organized crime to flourish, influencing many sectors of government and business, including enforcement and law. Many have tried to oppose, few have managed to leave a footprint. Though blanketed in a cloak of opulence, Eden's lower class lives in their own sort of hell. They rely on the mercy of those above and find any avenue possible (usually organized crime) to provide a level of comfort for their family. Let it be known that no group of people have gone untouched by the corruption in the city. They see it on the news, read it in the paper, and many live it through their daily lives. A tentative push and it rises away from you, swinging to the side. Light filters in through windows above. You blink, your eyes adjusting to the shadowed room as you try to remember what happened. A thin layer of dust covers everything. There are no panes of glass in the windows. The virus. You remember now. They told you stasis was a precaution. Only a few weeks. A month, at best. Let them get the virus under control. Standing beside your pod, legs shaking from disuse, you feel a sense of apprehension creeping over you. Your heart beats even faster now. A table nearby has a pile of scrolls on it and, with a sense of foreboding, you cross to find the one with your initials on it. ~~~ The year is 2100. ~~~ Waking Pandora is an AU, post-apocalyptic Harry Potter RPG based partially on the History Channel series Life after People. This transformation has left many traditionalists scared and fighting but most have been liberated due to the changes and are keen to allow them to continue. Mainly the rights for women and children have altered drastically. The change to female rights is almost immediately noticeable with the change of fashion. Medical and scientific understanding has improved and the experimentation for artificial limb use and ‘upgrades’ to the physical being are becoming highly fashionable however extremely costly. Whittlewell is the capital city of the British Empire and is on the cutting edge of the steam revolution. Its advances in air ship travel and compact innovations for steam capability are the envy of the world and have lead to the boon in wealth. However the gap between rich and poor is ever expanding.
