Welcome to RPG-Connect! This community was designed as the middle ground for rpg advertising communities on insanejournal. When I was browsing IJ, I came across two types of ad communities: the over-restricted and the under-restricted. To me, most of the communities had lost it's personal touch with the roleplaying world. Here at RPG-Connect, our goal is to help quality players and games find one another. St. Margaret's Academy
not your average boarding school
Rule #1 - Keep your fangs and claws to yourself: no snacking on any of the student body.
Rule #2 - No magic in the hallways.
Rule #3 - A full moon is no excuse for not having made your homework.

The '16 - '17 academic year is well underway and students are preparing for the end of the first term. Thanksgiving approaches with the winter holidays shortly on its tail. It's a time for cheer and excitement, but also tests and projects coming to a close. Winter approaches but fall still welcomes new faces amongst a growing student body. St. Margaret's happily moves along, though after the events of previous years, there's always some sort of unease as to what might crop up. They're all hoping for a peaceful holiday season, and maybe this year they'll get just that.
Open since 2013, St. Margaret's Academy is now looking for more great RPers and fresh faces to add to the fun. We're a fun and laid back group. Enrol your progeny today!

The '16 - '17 academic year is well underway and students are looking forward to the year's first holiday tradition. Hallowe'en is a big deal at this school. According to the Christian learnings, it's when the gates of Hell swing open and the restless spirits haunt the Earth. It's half-true. Hallowe'en is when the restless spirits that haven't yet passed on come out of their resting places and hunt the earth. Problem is, the Academy has lots of those, and not all of them have been buried in the graveyard. On Hallowe'en, all of them will come out. While they're not evil, these spirits, ghosts and phantoms can be mischievous and loud, which makes falling asleep on Halloween practically impossible. Will your costume fool the spirits? WESTWORLD
Every hero has a code...

In the near future, the Delos Corporation has opened the doors to the vacation of the future. For $1,000 a day, guests can enter into any one of their three fully immersive worlds: Medievalworld, Romanworld, and Westworld. Inside the parks, guests will not only get to dress and act the part, but they will get to full experience life inside another world. And older world.

Westworld has a non human population of over a thousand. That's over a thousand androids, ready to take the guests on untold adventures. Some dangerous. Some frolicking. Some sexual. The choices are all up to you. Will you be a dashing cowboy, out to save the local farmer's daughter from bandits? Or will you be the savage rogue, absconding with women and horses into the hills?

Trial 23 is a Dreamwidth, player-driven, panfandom survival/horror game based on settings like The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner or Silent Hill. It mostly focuses on survival and exploration and it will depend heavily on the community and community building. Canon, OC and CRAU characters are all accepted!

WHERE THE SCENERY'S ATTRACTIVE AND THE DEAD ARE WAY TOO ACTIVE, OH THE WILD WEST IS WHERE I WANNA BE...
It's a good day in Austin. The sun is shining, and the skies over downtown are finally clear of the caustic gas for good. Thanks to the official representatives of the United States government, the city is in the process of being reintroduced into the fold of society, like wayward cattle brought back inside the corral. The heat is keeping the dead drowsy and slow. It's also making them reek like all hell, but that's just fine. At least you can smell 'em coming a mile away. It's a perfect day to leave the safe house. Yes, today the wasteland is your oyster.

Maybe you'll even make it back alive.

Even if you don't, it's alright. Joining the dead doesn't seem so bad. They've always got plenty of fresh meat, and they seem super eager to welcome newcomers. So enjoy this perfect day while you can. It just might be your last.

REMAINS is an RPG based out of a post-apocalyptic Austin, Texas in the year 2019. After an aggressive virus went pandemic and turned most of the human race into mindless, flesh eating zombies, the people of Austin -- led by egocentric, power-hungry despot Mayor Reeves Olinger -- forged their own society, unaware of the world outside.

After nearly three years of Mayor Olinger's totalitarian regime -- living in a broken city made nearly inhospitable thanks to the U.S. Government's well-intentioned blister agents, dropped in 2016, and Olinger's disregard for the lives of those outside his inner circle -- the U.S. Government has stepped in. But is Austin ready to go back to normal -- or what counts for normal these days? How do you keep your own humanity in a society rife with corruption, lawlessness, and flesh-eating zombies? And what do you do when everything you know is revealed to be a lie?

Welcome to the apocalypse. Enjoy your stay-- you might not be here very long.

Some vacation to far off places, and others stay to participate in the school's summer courses. New students are already arriving, and in a little over a month, the '16 - '17 school year will commence. What will this year hold for St. Margaret's?

New Orleans is a city of fanaticism. Whether your flavor is the latest religious incarnation or getting drunk off your ass on Bourbon Street, NOLA caters to every desire imaginable. So what better place could there be for the undead?

This Dark Night is a Vampire the Requiem role play that focuses on original characters and original stories. While there will be game-driven plot, players are expected to bring their own ideas in with their characters to make an enjoyable experience for everyone. This game is slightly based off of VTR: City of the Damned, with some major creative license.

Would you believe that all the gods that people have ever imagined are still with us today?


Across America, just beneath the world we see, exists another world. One full of gods and monsters, of immortals and saints and demons. They walk among us every day and although we don't know it, our every thought fuels their lives.

Nevermore is a well-established, long-running game set in the world of American Gods. This particular game has been kicking around IJ in one form or another for years - at the moment our player base is quite small and so we're looking for fresh blood to come join us.
