Welcome to RPG-Connect! This community was designed as the middle ground for rpg advertising communities on insanejournal. When I was browsing IJ, I came across two types of ad communities: the over-restricted and the under-restricted. To me, most of the communities had lost it's personal touch with the roleplaying world. Here at RPG-Connect, our goal is to help quality players and games find one another. No one was ready for it when the fanatic occultist group Ordo Templi Orientis revealed the truth about vampires to the world five years ago. At first, the public didn't believe and centuries-long rivals, the Templar Knights, did their best to keep the supernatural world a secret. The Templars, despising this new faction and the image they portrayed to the public, set out to stop the extremist group at all costs and protect the secrets kept by the supernatural. However, the extremists of Ordo were all to eager to show the world these supernatural monsters. Worldwide, vampires were forced to register with their governments or risk being hunted, legally.

Imagine the Marvel and DC universes have always been one, merged together. All the heroes you've always known all in one universe, fighting against villains in the name of truth and justice. The Avengers, the Justice League, the Teen Titans, the X-Men, and many other teams coexsisting together, fighting the good fight. Eventually, those heroes (and villains,too), had children of their very own. And those children grew up, settling into their own roles as heroes, villains, or whatever else they chose to become.

Capes and Cowls is a Marvel and DC comics nextgen roleplaying game, taking place in a universe where the two universes have always been merged.
