Micah was quite positive he'd regret this later on, but at the moment, it seemed like a good idea. Counseling and therapy was something that he had been required to attend while in prison, part of his release agreement, but really he had never taken much away from it. Maybe there was still too much anger in him with it all, at how things had unfolded, at the amount of blame that had been placed upon his shoulders when it had all gone down. He still maintained (to deaf ears that refused to hear) that he had not been himself that evening, but that sort of defense held up no where and instead got whispers of psychiatric treatments instead. So Micah had learned to shut up about it and to simply move through it as he could. It had not been an easy time in prison, but he had survived, and he was certainly hardened from it.
The room that had been indicated on the poster was mostly empty when he entered, and he took a seat near the back, arms folded over his chest as he leaned back in the chair to wait. He wasn't even sure if he was going to say anything during the meeting, but listening, checking in, that couldn't hurt anything, right?
