9:26a	Oh Marvelous: A Marvel Universe Game Oh Marvelous: A Marvel RPG "Did you ever have one of those lives?" You inhabit a fantastical universe where anything can happen. Super powered beings exist, and living a sane life is no easy feat for anyone. In such an extraordinary world, an average day can be ruined by the strangest of threats; be it viral zombies, megalomaniacal criminals or assassination attempts. All just part of a normal day in a very abnormal world. You don’t even glance up at the shrill whine of sirens or the roar of a giant monster a few blocks over. In the sky above a caped character is flying towards the fray; a member of some super hero team or perhaps a lone vigilante. Maybe the monster is a mythical creature or an invading alien or a minion of the latest super villain. A van is hurled down the street followed by another angry howl but you go casually about your business- buy your newspaper, sip your latte- and mutter cynically to yourself, "oh_marvelous." Oh Marvelous is an age 18+, social, thread based, third person, AU Marvel RPG played in real time (quite a mouthful). The game is set in present day. Although the game is New York centered, action takes place in locations all over the world. Plot is primarily player driven with occasional inclusive plots that affect the entire game. This game does not follow any set timeline or particular Marvel continuity. 9:54a	Dark Obsidian: An Original Noir Game TALES OF OBSIDIAN CITY </center> Milton When I met her I'd just gotten canned, broke it off with the old lady. The business was hurtin' and I thought it was 'bout time to call it quits when she walked in. She had slender pins that went on for miles and deep, dark eyes, that could burn a whole right through ya if you let 'em. There was a smoke between her fingers, held so lightly you'd thing the thing was gonna fall to the ground and when she brought it to the bright center of mouth, I couldn't help but watch. The smoke escaped as she spoke, her voice was quiet but firm. This dame was dangerous, her voice said one thing and her body another. Her husband, she told me, was a drinker and when he got to drinking he'd take it out on her. The coppers weren't doing nothing about it, no matter how much she pleaded. He was a big shot, paid 'em off to look the other way and she was at my door step beggin' for redemption. I knew right then that this was a bad idea but the tug of her voice was too much to resist and the pleading in her eyes wasn't doing me any good either. Eventually she asked what I knew she was gettin' to all along. "Plug 'em for me, Milt. Then we can be together, for real this time." Her voice was lilting and soft, like poison it seeped into me and I couldn't refuse. When all was said and done, she bolted as fast she could and I was left to deal with mess she left behind. You asked me if I did it, I did. If you knew this broad's game, you'dve done it too. Milt's set to do the dance this March. 10:01p	To Be or Not to Be: a Harry Potter post-DH RPG. Stats (5/2 - 5/31) *52 completed threads *20 players *35 characters *62% returning to Hogwarts *38% out of Hogwarts To Be or Not to Be is a Deathly Hallows compliant Harry Potter RPG that picks up right where the books left off (pre-epilogue). We are 75% player modded, so we review applications, make plot decisions, brainstorm, and generally run the game as a group. Most Wanted *8th year girls (any house) *Ernie MacMillan *Lee Jordan *Roger Davies *Blaise Zabini *Penelope Clearwater *Hufflepuffs During the summer months, characters can help with the rebuilding of Hogwarts (weekly status updates) and generally get their lives back together. Come September, 7th and "8th" year students will return to Hogwarts but be housed off-grounds in Hogsmeade for maximum interaction potential. Several NEWTs options are available for 8th years.
