RP: The best part of being misguided is on the wrong side of the tracks...
Date: November 16, year one
Characters: Cormac and Katie
Location: their flat
Public/Private: Private
Summary: Cormac does not like that Katie opened her mouth to his fenemy, Malachi, about his past and childhood. Fireworks to ensue.
Status: Complete
Cormac left the bar angry, frustrated, and bitter. Malachi had no right to say those things to him or about him. He knew nothing. Katie might have opened her apparently big mouth about things, but that didn't give the other man a right to say a damned thing. So what if he was a womanizer? So what if his father took him to brothels? So what if he never wanted to show he had a heart? So what? It wasn't any of Malachi's goddamn business nor was it Katie's business to talk. Lavender had never told Malachi, and surely that was for a reason.
Marching into the flat, he swung the door closed behind him, slamming it loudly. He wasn't drunk. It'd be better if he was drunk. Hell, if he was drunk he might not have hit Malachi, but the man deserved it. He'd go crying to Lavender and Lavender would get in his face, but he didn't care. Malachi deserved more than what he got. He just wanted Lavender to try to tell him he wrong. He just wanted his friend to try to defend her future husband, live-in boyfriend, father of her child. He wanted it.
"Katie!" he yelled, wanting to talk to her about this now and not later. She had no right. His wife in this future of his or not, she had no right to tell Malachi a thing.
