Cormac sighed, shaking his head at her. She wasn't helping herself. He knew he should be nicer, perhaps more forgiving but it didn't matter now. He was pissed. He told very few people about this father, but he certainly didn't want anyone to tell someone else.
"Well, to be fair," he said, "He implied that what my father did to me was worse than actual abuse." He paused, staring her down. "Worse, Katie. He said it was worse than abuse. What the hell did you even tell me? He was vague. Something about my father teaching me my 'womanizing ways'."
