The Year is

Three Years Later After the dust settled and Magical England was left to pick up the pieces, the Provisional Government took over to prevent a collapsed state. Within months, the "war criminals" of the Second War were freed and Kingsley Shacklebolt was voted into office. The Ministry underwent a number of changes to put structure back in the world. And the world moved on slowly. While not all of the Purist radicals are captured or killed, there are a few behind bars. The world continues to heal while the Ministry wonders what to do with the criminals they have and what those who have escaped are planning.

But for the population? The war is over. The scars are healing and society is open. Residents are spread across the British Isles and reforms continue to modernize this world.
