For Hogsmeade let's start making a list of things we might need to source this week. Ginny's bringing a bag we can fill with anything we think the IS will confiscate. We'll get it in through the tunnel.

Has anyone noticed there are fewer owls in the Owlery? Has there just been a rush of Christmas postings or are the owls sick? I hope Mags doesn't catch anything. She's due back with some goodies from my parents, including some of my mum's homemade chocolates (honestly, she's about as good as Honeydukes!). Also I was going to write to my sister, but I could just wait until I get home I suppose.

So I've been thinking about the whole owl scenario and have been growing increasingly paranoid at the idea they somehow find a way to break our journal wards. Not sure how they would do this exactly, but I was up in the middle of the night thinking about it and my thoughts just went wild. So I think I'm going to try and build our own network. This might take me a moment.

I'm also considering stealing some chickens for the room, but that is less a plan and more a vague idea for the time being.

I think folks are making a bigger deal out of the whole graffiti thing than necessary. Just like I think folks might be getting a little trigger happy with detentions. So, I guess this is just a reminder to be kind to your fellow school mates in whatever sort of encounter you find yourself in.
