Between breakfast, study hall, and lunch today Seamus Finnigan made his rounds to the individuals who mentioned that they were interested in having a listening party. He acted pretty casually and it wouldn't have been out of the ordinary for him to be seen with most of these people. He would have provided them with a galleon and explained, "Consider this your entry token." He would not have told anyone what the galleon was for - just bring it. He would have told everyone they'll meet, "You know where we've hung out before? Show up around 5:45...6-ish." Any questions about what the broadcast was would have been met with, "Your guess is as good as mine, mate. I'm just the key provider.".

The one good thing that could be said about Defensive Theory was that for the seventh years, it was the last class of the day. Julian therefore did not stop to collect his $200 and went directly back to Hufflepuff, head down and marching as quickly as his long legs would take him.

He emerged briefly from the boys' dorm to dump a cauldron load of chocolate fudge on a table in the center of the common room then returned abruptly to his room. His roommates wouldn't have seen him for the rest of the evening, but would have heard the sounds of The Cure playing on repeat from his record player, muffled through the drapes.

So ladies and gentlemen, there's apparently trouble in paradise! After these journal comments, Melinda is cooler and more distant towards Reinald, staring fixedly at her own work during class and (while polite) only speaking to him when strictly necessary.

While Reinald appears smug, shrewd observers may notice him looking slightly disappointed whenever Melinda looks away from him or responds to his comments only briefly.

At the end of class, Melinda shoves her books into her bag in a very unMelinda-like manner and scurries away as quickly as possible, leaving Reinald behind.

After the Carrows announcement, Terry could be seen making his way to the owlery four separate times on Thursday. The first time is after breakfast, then once before lunch, then sometime around four in the afternoon, and then about an hour after dinner. If anyone tried to talk to him, he seemed preoccupied and not really interested in stopping to chat. His willingness to discuss what he was doing would be dependent how friendly he is with the person. Former DA members and friendly types would probably get the answer he was owling his parents. Anyone else would get a standard "nothing" answer.
