Hey, everyone! I thought I'd post in the OOC to gauge interest in a little plot with Martin and his search for his cat. If there is any interest in writing a short thread based on this, I would love for him to come into contact with either a DA or an IS member, depending on where Martin finds the cat (either near the IS room or the RoR). Obviously, neither he or the cat can actually get into either place but a member of one can find him finally catching his cat nearby. This would have happened on the evening of the 2nd.

His detention details are being sorted but once that is set in stone, I wouldn't mind threads surrounding that or the aftermath of it. Or any other random threads! I want to start digging in!

As a side note: I changed Martin's animagus animal from a lion to a hyena for extra literal lols and embarrassment if/when he's found out. I waffled between hyena and fox before I went down a deep Google hole and found out hyenas are WAY cooler than their stereotypes would lead you to believe. Kind of like muggleborns. ;D

Hey! So, with the "DA Recruiting" plots we have to lock in who the IS are going to target from the original DA. After some canon digging this is what we know;

Because it's been two years, original IS members will be recalling names of people they suspect to be involved with this new graffiti.

For Dumbledore's Army Members we're leaving it up to players to decide if they want their character to be remembered by anyone from that particular evening. There is also an option for DA member's to be suspected because of their friendliness toward the Gryffindors in general.

For IS Members we're asking original members only pull from the list of characters that have volunteered to be remembered.

What's Going to Happen
During the IS Training scene Tuesday we'll give a spot for IS members to volunteer intel. Then we're going to do an interrogation scene similar to the Questioning Potter's Friend plot for the DA member's under suspicion. This will essentially launch us into the December plots.

Hello All. Dawn and I'm new here (I also suck at introductions so apologies now). I'm from smack in the middle of the US (really find the center point of the country and my guess it's at least within fifty miles of the broken down office chair in which I am sitting at this moment).

I'm bringing you Andrew Kirke, sixth year Gryffindor and the most unlikely Gryffindor prefect since Ron Weasley. Drew is more likely to protect "his" students than he is to turn anyone in for anything. He sees it as his duty to protect his classmates from things that might harm them. And he takes that duty seriously, even if he doesn't take much else seriously.

So coming off hiatus I have a new character. This here is Grace Rosier, niece to the Evan Rosier that died during the first war and something like second or third cousin to Draco Malfoy. Her Grandfather was brother to Druella Rosier, his grandmother to give you an idea.

She's a Ravenclaw 5th year who spends more time with her head in a book than she does talking to people. A shy and reserved girl who tends to observe rather than participate. Is suspected that she is a purist due to her family but she's never shown one way or another where her loyalties lay. Not very trusted as people don't seem to know her well. Very neat and organised, is an excellent singer. Her dorm/house mates might know she also enjoys drawing.

So yes she's in the choir but a part from that isn't very social. She's also secretly a lesbian but hasn't actually admitted that to anyone.

Hi, everyone! I'm Lessa. Some of you may know me, some of you don't, but I'm from small-town NY, not to be mistaken for being anywhere near NYC, and I work with horses and growing stuff like wheat and soybeans. I also juuuust hit 40,313 words on my Nanowrimo novel so I'm very excited about being 80% there!!! can this month be over yet...

I am bringing you Martin O'Brien. He's the one who gets found out for having forged paperwork. His bio can be found here along with details about his forged paperwork and the family he claims to be from. Really, he's just a very gifted and ambitious muggleborn. People like to be around him because he has that kind of extra charisma. In addition to having forged paperwork, he's also an unregistered Animagus so he's really playing a very risky game. He'll eventually end up being found out and land in the Room of Requirement and he's NOT going to be happy about it because it is going to take him away from his studies and oh snap, his secret is out. He's not super vocal about politics because he has enough on the line but he's probably got a bunch of friends(?) because he's fun to know and stuff. And I should add that he is a Slytherin!!

Give me lines!! And bear with me since I admittedly haven't done an HP RP since GJ was a thing but I'm excited to get back into it. <3

It's Amber. I skipped intros on my other kids because they're pretty cut and dry. I'm picking up Preston Plank. Hufflepuff 5th year, muggleborn refugee, son of a shoe salesman, avid cricket and footie fan, and general goofball. If you have boobs he has likely informed his friends that he will marry you one day. If you have a penis he has likely told you someone with boobs clearly wants to bang. He's ace at potions and generally distrusts animals.

He's a bit sporadic and eager to help. He will annoy all Room of Requirement and DA folks, and I'm sure he looks forward to when they have access to polyjuice potion so he can torment those outsides of the SECRET CLUB.

I'm so sorry for being absent lately (and for logs I've dropped the ball on)... things hit the fan hard with my show's runthroughs and it's a miracle if I make it home by 11PM and DON'T burst into tears the second I get through the door. Things are a little more under control now, but only because I have dedicated pretty much every waking hour to it, so please excuse a brief hiatus for the next week. Love this game and will be back in action soon!
