I had this ready to go last night and THOUGHT I had hit submit, but when I got up this morning, it hadn't gone through. Sorry about that!!!
Hmmm, emotional pain and physical pain tied in last week's challenge. How Brian-esque. ;)
This week, I'm going to try something a bit different, since the last two didn't get as many drabbles as usual.
The battle will be between the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force and The Trevor Project, and I'll donate $1 for every qualifying drabble submitted this week to the winning organization. (ALL drabbles count, not just the one awarded to the ultimate winner.)

A/N: random bit of (painful) silliness....and I've had John Cougar Mellencamp stuck in my head ALL week, but the song has nothing to do with this drabble.

“Ow FUCK, Brian!”
“Hold still, this will only take a minute.”
“Yeah, Justin, Dad’s really good at patching up scraped knees. Remember last summer when I wiped out on my bike? Oh, by the way, you owe a dollar to the swear jar!” Gus admonishes, which makes Justin roll his eyes, but smiles despite the pain.
“How is it you grew up in Pittsburgh and never learned to skate?”
“Who knows, but I thought rollerblading would be easy. Guess I was wrong, my scraped elbows and knees proving that.”
“At least your ass came away from this little adventure unscathed.” |

Thanks to ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) mander3_swish for drabbling to my silly prompt last week -- I have a partially-finished drabble series based on the prompt, but I've let it run over WAY too long already, and so I am giving up and changing the prompt tonight, "on schedule" but a week late!
I wasn't able to give any time to it this week because my family was visiting from California... the family that I LOVE, my youngest brother, his wife, and my beloved little nephew. I should have realized I'd have no time to write and changed the prompt last week. I apologize for sucking!
Of course I will post the fic "out of challenge" when it's done!
Anyway, Proposal Number One got one condom, and so is our winner!
This week's prompt is: Hurts so good!
Interpret the prompt however you want: Erotic pain, angst so juicy the reader can't put it down even though it KILLS THEM, a cathartic fight or other painful event that leads to an emotional breakthrough, or just really good sex... or anything else the prompt inspires in you!
