Thanks to ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) mander3_swish for drabbling to my silly prompt last week -- I have a partially-finished drabble series based on the prompt, but I've let it run over WAY too long already, and so I am giving up and changing the prompt tonight, "on schedule" but a week late!
I wasn't able to give any time to it this week because my family was visiting from California... the family that I LOVE, my youngest brother, his wife, and my beloved little nephew. I should have realized I'd have no time to write and changed the prompt last week. I apologize for sucking!
Of course I will post the fic "out of challenge" when it's done!
Anyway, Proposal Number One got one condom, and so is our winner!
This week's prompt is: Hurts so good!
Interpret the prompt however you want: Erotic pain, angst so juicy the reader can't put it down even though it KILLS THEM, a cathartic fight or other painful event that leads to an emotional breakthrough, or just really good sex... or anything else the prompt inspires in you!

Timeline: 10ish years post 204
and the condom goes to: Proposal #1
“What the fuck are you wearing, Justin?”
“It’s my costume for the parade.”
“And who are you marching with, a support group for former go-go boys?”
Justin just rolls his eyes and heads out the door for the 2011 NYC Pride March.
Hours later, Justin is standing around at the end of the parade route with some friends when a hand clamps down on his shoulder and he hears, “Hey Stud, wanna dance?” He whirls around, knowing it’s Brian. He’s surprised to see Brian’s t-shirt, though, displaying support for the NY state marriage equality bill. “And what are YOU wearing??” |

The loft windows beat Britin's windows, 3 to 1! Thanks to the drabblers!
I'm going with a somewhat odd prompt, in honor of the fact that the New York State Senate may be about to pass a marriage equality law (or, you know, not...). The law has already passed the State Assembly.
I'd like to have your drabbles be about that. It doesn't matter if Brian and Justin are living in Tahiti and read about it on Twitter, or Justin's in New York and Brian arrives on bended knee the morning after it passes, or if Justin gets arrested protesting when it doesn't pass... anything at all the prompt of "New York State marriage equality" inspires in you. :)
And since we may know even tonight which way it goes, feel free to rip your story from today's headlines, LOL, but don't feel bound by it.
