Title: A Familiar Form of Absolution
Timeframe: Immediately after the end of 201
And the Condom Goes To: Brian's tasteful black umbrella.
The sky remained stubbornly blue, no hint of the storm clouds Brian was sure were collecting over his head like the fucking wrath of God.
After facing the restrained country club disdain of Jennifer Taylor, divine lightning would have been a welcome death.
Brian agreed with her estimation of his guilt in Justin’s bashing, yet for a brief moment, he had let himself believe that he’d found a way to atone for his sins and keep Justin in his life.
As he pulled into the alley next to the baths, Brian knew a familiar form of absolution awaited him inside. |

Justin saw the early spring rain through the window in his studio. He was feeling uninspired.
Needing a distraction, he rummaged through the old trunk in the corner.
Some paper, containing Brian's handwriting, caught Justin's eye. The date read May 29, 2001.
A day he himself wanted to remember.
"Here comes the rain again. Raining in my head like a tragedy, tearing me apart like a new
emotion. I want to talk like lovers do I want to dive into your ocean. Is it raining with
you?"
The last line was faded with what seemed to be a tear drop. |

Wow!
"Working... not!" wins with 15, over "Work sucks" with 5, proving that, while no one in this fandom likes work, we'd rather just not do it than complain about it. WE ROCK!
I'm so sorry that I failed to get my drabbles up... the drabbles that were the whole reason for this prompt! I'll write them and post later, outside of the challenge.
