Notes: This is a double drabble, by ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ahaw9913 and me. We liked writing together so much last week that we decided to do it again. And, since QaF is so wrapped up in friendships, we decided to intermingle four friends. Hope you like it...we had so much fun thinking of ideas and writing it!

And the Condom Goes To: Brian
Every Friday morning at 11:00, there was a knock on Daphne’s door.
She always greeted him with a hug and a smile, especially on the days when one glance told her that Brian’s side-effects to the radiation hadn’t improved.
Sometimes the words flowed like a river that flooded its banks, and they would laugh together and only cry a little.
Sometimes he would say nothing, just sit there, eyes worried and lost, letting her hold his hand while he chain-smoked.
She never offered him false hope because that’s not what he wanted.
Justin was fucking scared.
Daphne was his lifeline. |
