Most days, Brian would pop into the Diner for a quick breakfast, leaving before the other guys finished.
Today, however, he finds himself reluctant to get up from his seat. He blames this on the heavy carb content of the deluxe bacon and fries (triple-bypass) special Debbie had ambushed him with. Which he’s lingering over. To give his system more time to digest it, and all.
