And the Condom Goes To: PIFA
Brian sighed as he padded silently through the kitchen, shutting out lights and securing the loft for the night.
The sheer breeder normalcy of this newest bedtime ritual should have been enough to send him stalking into the night, searching for oblivion in the seductive comfort of Babylon, the back room, and mind-numbing amounts of narcotics washed down with whiskey chasers.
But the deceptively light touch of a soiled scarf lay coiled against his neck like a poisonous snake, reminding him that everything had changed again with the innocent swing of a child’s bat.
Tonight, he hoped, was for healing. |
