In all his years of knowing Brian, Justin had never seen him so much as acknowledge that Valentine's Day existed, aside from the occasional snide comment about the commercialism and sickening sweetness of the 'hetero holiday of the year.' Really, Justin had never expected any different...it was Brian.

The first February fourteenth Justin spent in New York, he'd received an 'anonymous' delivery of flowers. No card. Not even a phone call. And later, when he asked Brian about them, the brunette denied all charges.
