He handed it over with a kiss then took Ted’s hand as they walked home. Blake didn’t ask about the meeting or how Ted felt. Instead, he joked about Lupe’s latest escape attempt and suggested a movie for Saturday night. Once they were home, Blake headed for the kitchen, but Ted stopped him. There was so much he needed to say, explanations and apologies, but nothing came out.
