“It’s not fair. She’s only here for the weekend and that fucking shipment arrives!”
“We’ve still got plenty of time with her and she’ll probably sleep while you’re out”
Ben tried to appease Michael, who he knew hated missing one minute away from JR.
“I guess.”
Michael left and Ben watched JR for a few minutes before tiptoeing from the room, stopping when she let out a wail. He returned to find her big brown eyes that mirrored Michael’s looking at him.
Michael came home two hours later to find Ben asleep on the couch, JR sprawled across his chest. |
