Brian stopped by Mel and Lindsay’s new house to pick up Gus and laughed when they tried to give him a typed instruction sheet.
Brian drove a few blocks before Gus announced he was starving. They stopped at the Diner for a quick breakfast, and, as they headed out the door, ran into Mysterious Marilyn.
“Honey,” she frowned at Brian. “You shouldn’t make any car trips today. I foresee milkshake all over your leather seats, and at least thirty bathroom stops. Maybe forty.”
Brian shuddered. An hour later, they were buckled in. Gus smiled, excited for his first plane ride. |

“You mean you’ve never done it before?” Hunters face dropped in amazement.
“What the fuck do I know about cars…. anyway this is your fault!”
“The fuck it is!”
“Listen smart ass…you’re the one who thought a Sunday afternoon driving lesson was a good idea!”
“Well it looks like the only lesson I will be getting is how to change a fucking tire!” |

Emmett buckled his lap belt as the engines of the plane began to roar.
He gazed out the window before a movement to his left caught his eye; he turned as someone dropped into the vacant seat next to him, banging against him; a over-night bag landing in his lap.
“Sorry!” The deep sexy voice belonged to the most beautiful man he’d ever laid eyes on and his heart gave a little flutter.
He gave him a beaming smile, which was returned two-fold. Maybe this trip wasn’t going to be so bad after all.
He looked around for the bathroom signs. |

Michael walked out the motel and towards the lake.
He found what he always called their spot and sat down.
He and Ben had come here every year since that first time Ben had whisked him away for a weekend and this was the first time he had been able to bring himself to come back since losing Ben.
He was pleased he had as memories filled his mind of long walks, nights of love making and days filled with laughter.
Ben maybe gone but as always he could sense his presence all around him. That was all he needed |
