Brian's day started sucking before he even woke up. Justin was gone, a wet towel the only evidence he'd even been there, except a bunch of his clothes in the closet, and some flavored coffee, which was another part of Brian's crappy day… raspberry hazelnut? WTF?
Cynthia was out, which left no buffer between Brian and the staff. Debbie picked today to force feed him at lunch. Fucking pink plate special.
He got home at nine. Justin was there, smiling. He padded over in his bare feet, kissing Brian's jaw gently before deepening the kiss. The night might be salvageable. |

“Sonny boy, let’s hit the Jack Rabbit after the Racer. You’ll love that roller coaster—it launches you out of your seat.”
“Sure, Dad. You go ahead and ride with Justin this time.”
As they slid into cars, Gus was paired up with a little girl. She couldn’t take her eyes off him. After the attendant had strapped them in, the girl put her arm around Gus.
Justin raised his eyebrows.
“You knew he’d have to beat them off someday. Who are we to question a little PDA?” Brian asked before kissing Justin.
The little girl’s mom smiled to herself. |
