“And what does she have to say about today’s events” Ben asked, climbing onto the bed and snuggling up next to Michael.
“You are going have a new member join your family very soon!”
“What?”
”Perhaps she means I can get that puppy I always wanted?” Michael looked up at Ben with a hopeful look on his face.

Michael pouted and Ben lent down, kissing the top of his head.

Justin and Brian were very drunk. Brian lurched forward but was kept from falling by an arm jangling with bangle bracelets. He almost choked on a diaphanous synthetic scarf. Justin laughed at the spectacle.

“Be nice, he’s going to have to clean up your puke tomorrow.”
“I don’t vomit.” Brian weaved a little, as he stood.
Justin tugged on his arm and they staggered their way back to the loft.
In the morning Brian’s face had a tile print on it and Justin greeted him with aspirin and a disgusted look. “Score one more for Mysterious Marilyn.” |
