The headlights projected a thin, sharp line into the rainy night. Justin turned to look out the passenger window, seeing nothing but inky blackness beyond the edge of the road.

The radio played quietly, a song that Justin didn't recognize. He glanced over at Brian, his profile hazy within the darkened interior of the car.

"Almost there." Brian's voice was low and rough, the perfect complement to the surrounding shadows. Justin shifted in his seat and almost smiled. When he looked down, he saw Brian's hand lying against his jeans, palm facing up. Justin reached over, letting their fingers intertwine.

Back Again

Debbie ushered a rain-soaked Justin into the house.

"Of course you can stay here, baby. Just let me go up and get you some towels." Deb shot a worried glance over her shoulder as she went, wondering what Brian had done this time.

Justin stood in the entry, a steady stream of water hitting the carpet below. He sighed. He'd left the loft in a rush of emotion, without thinking. Maybe coming to Deb's wasn't the best idea.

But then Deb was back, pulling him into a hug. Finally, Justin relaxed. Debbie loved him; this was where he belonged.

“Brian what are you doing?”

“If you do not know then we might have a very big problem.”

“Just now, while we were kissing you had your eyes open. Come to think of it, you do that a lot.”

“Ok, no more Mr. Vodka for you.”

“Were you staring at me while we were kissing?”

“Justin, does the word delusional mean anything to you?”

“Just answer the question.”

Justin smiles seductively and proceeds to kiss along Brian’s neck hoping to coax the answer out of him.

Brian plays coy; hoping to keep one of his biggest pleasures, and kinks a secret.

I'm supposed to be on my way to the airport.

But when the car pulled up in front of the loft I told the driver to take me to Babylon. I made the decision somewhere between my front door and the car and I was careful not to give myself a moment to second guess it. On the drive over I thought idly about the flight I was about to miss and not about what the fuck I was going to do once I got to Babylon.

Fuck Australia. There is something more important that I have to do here.

Brian’s boot heels clicked on the bare hardwood floor as he walked past the fireplace where they had fucked…no, made love…their bodies hot in the cold house. He walked through the out-moded kitchen, never up-graded, and up the stairs to the second floor.

The second floor was as empty as the first. He paused a moment in the unfurnished master bedroom; there was nothing here to take away with him. He turned and went back downstairs.

Jennifer looked at him anxiously. “Brian, are you sure you want to do this?”

He rolled his lips inward. “Yes,” he said. “I’m sure.”

10. Sweet and with so much potential for a great longer fic.

11. Oh, Justin. Excellent Deb and Justin interaction.

12. hee, sweet and sexy. Love it!

13. Yay Brian! This could go in so many interesting directions, some very happy, some very angsty.

14. I think this is great. Selling Britin can be indicative of super angst or a very happy fic.
