[WELCOME TO RAINBOW BRIDGE!

That's the first you hear, once you walk into this world. It's easy to see the reason for the name, having just crossed a bridge lit up in all the colors of the rainbow.

Whether you're from a different magical world, or consider the concept of magic a silly thing from movies and games, you'll still receive the proper welcome, and everything that comes with it - some information about this country, a map, directions, and explanations as to how there should be a residents list, but it seems empty at the moment.

But it doesn't end there! It's not just that you're now visiting a magical country with plenty of sights to see and places to explore, with different towns and cities, long roads across swamps, dunes and a large lake, even creepy castles by some cliffs and the dangerous forests surrounding them. No, this week they're also celebrating the arrival of Spring!

While some of the areas are naturally flowery and pretty (like EverGreen Town), it'll all still be noticeably decorated for the date, with flower garlands and bouquets everywhere, flower petals falling around and the perfume of flowers in the air, while NPC travelers will have flowery-patterned clothes, flowers in their hair or hats, and so on. Carriages taking you from place to place might be decorated as well, or you might spot horses with pretty arrangements in their manes.

You'll also be able to find seasonal treats at places like the bakery and the big community kitchen at Sunset Village, or the restaurants at Tourmaline City, or find cute colorful outfits at their clothing shops.

EverGreen Town will be thriving, with big sales on herbs, all sorts of spices, wines and ingredients, and obviously flowers, plants and decorations made with them. The plaza will be full of vendors but also people playing music and dancing through the days - a rare time for those in this town to be a little louder and outgoing.

Even at places like the creepy Crimson Keeps, you might be able to find rare treasure in the form of flower-shaped gems and jewellery!

So it's definitely not a bad time to arrive here - surely that initial confusion and outrage at being separated from your home or loved ones will go away much faster while you join the celebrations, right? Who can stay mad or anxious while wearing a freshly made flower crown?]]

[It's unexpected, of course, arriving to a new world. But luckily for him this is not the first time he has managed such a feat. The difference this time is that as soon as he has that little colorful flower crown on his head and a map in his hands, he feels that itch he hasn't been able to scratch in a while. The itch to travel, to meet new places. Jaskier has, after all, spent way too much time in one place and it’s about time he got to change that.

His first hour in this new world, after the explanations and introductions and all that, are spent over the map with a pen in his hand and his lute case on the floor by his side. He tries to find the routes, tries to plan one that will lead him to cover the most ground. This is a new world, after all! He’d be a fool not to take advantage of that.]

[It was supposed to be a short trip to the first village, but why not take advantage of it? So instead of picking the most straightforward road, he’s taking his time by going on a more… complicated and longer route. So those deciding to start traveling on the roads might run into him: he’s hard to miss, with his long red coat and his lute over his shoulder.

Or maybe it’s the singing that draws you to him. Because he just can’t help it, in the middle of his walk, Jaskier takes out his lute and starts playing some songs. Songs about a white haired witcher who, along with a fierce sorceress, protect and look after a lost princess. He’s in a good mood, that’s for sure, and taking being in a new world particularly well.]

[ Maybe it's the sound of music alongside such a similar sight to the same sort of wandering minstrels back home that Estinien finds strangely welcome, in the midst of so much sudden unknown confusing fuckery. It's not even to say that there haven't been other familiar traits from the surroundings that he's noticed already since arriving here, and yet... Well, he isn't one particularly refined in the understanding of the arts anyway, but tales of adventure put to song are a strange comfort, much as the story itself is an unfamiliar one. Music is simple enough in that sense, he supposes.

However much he maintains his supposedly stoic distance on the path to the next town, he listens deliberately to the point of growing more curious. Eventually, should the singing lull into any momentary silence, he'll speak up first. ]

And so? What became of them next?

[If tales of adventure are the sort of thing you like, then you'll enjoy listening to him. But the song does stop just before the possessed princess is set free by the mighty witchers, with the help of a certain sorceress.

He smiles as he stops walking, clearly enjoying the fact that there was someone listening and paying attention to his music.]

Ah, well, you shouldn't rush things. It's a song I'm still working on, you know, and I don't want to spoil the ending.

[He'll never admit to something as corny as "liking things" but yeah maybe it's nice to think of adventures in a musical light. When the musician stops, so too does Estinien, lingering a few paces back, arms crossed casually. He does roll his eyes a little too, but eh performer dramatics isn't out of the order he figures.]

That right? Couldn't have guessed it was incomplete from here. [/IGNORANT.....] I suppose it certainly serves to keep a listener's ear perked for more.

[He takes advantage of the moment to sneak a good and not subtle at all look at you. Looks up at you because even though his height is quite decent, you are very tall. The white hair catches his attention too, though not as much considering he's used to Geralt's.

The eyeroll doesn't go unnoticed, either. He certainly doesn't let it affect him.]

It's not the best trick in the book to keep an audience, but it works well enough. But it does worry me a bit that you couldn't tell there was more to the story, I need to work on that.

[Once upon a time he was more used to stares and recognition from all sorts of people just by nature of his role and positive as a public figure. Nowadays, it's not so common and not many find Elezen any rarer than any race in Eorzea, so it doesn't quite register to him why the attention, though he doesn't miss the lack of subtlety. Huh.

As an answer, he mostly just waves his hand a bit, shaking his head.]

Don't mind it, music isn't any sort of forte of mine. No doubt the proper ending will come in its due time.
