New York! The Big Apple!

God, I've always wanted to come here! Even when I was a little girl! I mean, granted I wasn't expecting an overnight flight from The Pie Hole to here without so much as a warning, but it's so beautiful! I just- wow! Wow just about covers it all.

I just wish Ned were here to see it.

Of course, if you are here Ned, I'll just have to edit that out at a later point in time to avoid sounding like I'm either a) lonely or b) in mourning.

I ain't heard from you in a mighty long time so I'm just wondering who's still here from Serenity. I'm just all curious as people keep disappearing and reappearing and I just wanna know who's here and all that.

Oh- this is just fan-fucking-tastic- where the hell is my gorram crew?

I am not a happy captain. And when I am not a happy captain, my crew also seems to have a certain familiar, and seemingly unhappy temperament. Now, if I don't get an explanation soon, I'm afraid there will be a few busted noses and kneecaps. If you're lucky- it won't exactly have to be in that order. I'm a flexible sort of man.

Quiet. It's too quiet. In my head. It's not screaming anymore.

I can hear my thoughts. But it will go away. It always goes away.

No more hands of blue...two by two...they can't find us here...hide and seek. Don't look in the cupboards. They never hide there.

Babies...right...meant to say this earlier, but I got...uh...distracted. Right.

There are babies. Two babies. Twins. They're amazing...and they're so tiny! Not sick tiny! Just baby tiny.

And they have names! Of course they have names. Serenity Alleyne and Malcolm Hoban Washburne.

Oh! And Zoe's doing fine.

Anybody know a way to get a song out of your head? I made the mistake of playing around with the radio, found a station and now I've got this gorram song stuck in my head. It's mighty frustratin'.

Well ain’t that just shiny? I went and got myself a job at the local mechanic place. It don’t pay much but it’s better than nothing and working on cars ain’t exactly like working on Serenity but it could be a lot worse.

I miss Serenity.

Simon, I’m not sure that it’s working for us. I’m not talking about the sex. The sex is great. You’re really good at the sex. But the dating thing just ain’t working, is it? So maybe we should stop doing that.
