Who: Renwick Gray and open to research volunteers [separate comment threads for each victim subject]
Where: Knockturn Alley
When: Whenever they show up
What: Finding a cure - or experimenting to see what isn't a cure
Rating: Potentially very high - pre-emptive trigger warning maybe?
Renwick's clinic was located down Diagon Alley in what had previously been a small boutique catering in less-than-desirable merchandise. It wasn't large or glamorous, but it was all Renwick needed to be getting on with the important task at hand. The window had been boarded up, preventing prying eyes from peering into the main examination room. Renwick had also boarded up the door and fitted a heavy bolt to the inside, and a small sliding window so he could peer out into the alley to see his visitors. The door bore a sigil of two snakes curling up a winged staff. Inside the main examination room was an old fashion dentist's chair sitting in the centre of the room. Along every wall, shelves were stacked with bottles of potion ingredients and anatomy books. Within a few jars preserved organs and dissected animals were suspended in sickly green liquid. The room was hot and heady with fumes from a row of bubbling cauldrons, each containing different potions of varying colour and viscosity. It was relatively dim in the examination room, but Renwick preferred it that way. Much easier for patients to fall into a drowsy contentment... |
