Author's Notes (if any): It’s cracky, but the prompt just begged for it (however I deviated from the prompt just a bit). Also, The Prince of Tech is a real pub in Earl’s Court, but as far as I know, doesn’t have a special Wizarding section upstairs, or girls who just wear pasties. Summary: When Severus meets someone who shares his long cherished views about Harry Potter he finds that maybe he is not so certain about his opinions as he once thought he was.
Prompt: #32. Two men, both think that they know Harry Potter, both have reason to dislike him and have had problems dealing with him. You would have thought that Severus Snape and Vernon Dursley would get on well – but do they?
A/N: Written for Phoenix_Flies Festival on InsaneJournal. This story took me ages to write, I just could not feel happy with it. It is an episode that might, or might not have taken place during the Deathly Hallows and therefore does not have a resolution because that book does not allow a resolution to occur. However I only managed to complete it after writing this story. and pretending that this particular post is merely a prologue. If you want to ignore that story then A Twisted Mirror is fully compliant with DH and can be read as a one-shot. It is written entirely from Severus’ POV.

Author's Notes: Some big chunks were lifted directly from “Deathly Hallows” due to the nature of how I interpreted the prompt. I am not Rowling so I claim no credit for those chunks. Rather than create a whole new world to make a happy ending, I tried to write something that could easily fit in the actual book and replace that ghastly epilogue. The prompt is slightly changed because I forgot the ‘running from the sun’ part of it. Sorry.

A/N: Written for Phoenix_Flies Festival on GreatestJournal. And the story kind of ran away with me, and it's not quite what I wanted it to be. I put them both in the same house, cause I envisioned Harry's son in Slytherin. And the title sucks, I couldn't seem to think of anything for this. It could have been longer, but I ran out of time, and life got in the way.

Further A/N: The boys are visiting Wizarding Indianapolis, which is in Indiana. The place called Nashville does exist, it is about an hour and a half south of the capital city and has several art studios, scenic views and other visitor attractions. Nashville is also near Brown County State Park, Morgan-Monroe State Park, Yellowwood State Park, and the Hoosier National Forest. Hermione trying to send the boys south is for a good reason.
The IMA (Indy Museum of Art) is off 38th Street and Michigan road, right next to the White River. There are several acres of park surrounding the museum and among the wild life living on the museum grounds are: coyote, white tailed deer, red fox, otter, and muskrat.
