Dylan was a little giddy. He wasn't sure if this was just his boys setting him up, but he was excited. Of course, that may have been the alcohol talking and taking her, but he was okay with that. Thanks to that weird journal he found, Dylan had a date - sort of. He assumed the girl thought it was at least, and no outing with Dylan was really ever a date. Mostly because they never got to date two. Polishing off his beer, Dylan quickly got dressed, threw on some cologne, and checked himself out in the mirror. Still handsome.
Heading down to Kavoras was about a ten minute walk for Dylan. He didn't own a vehicle, and never had in the past. Not only could he never afford one, he never saw the point. Everywhere he worked was either within walking distance, or the bus could get him there just as fast. He wasn't an environmentalist, but every once in a while he felt proud that he wasn't destroying anything. The evening air was warm and fresh, as it usually was this time of year. Dylan hadn't grabbed a coat or blazer and he was glad, he'd be much too hot now if he had.
Walking into the bar, he nodded to the regular bartender. Grabbing a small booth close to the door, Dylan faced the doorway. He actually had no idea what this girl looked like, but he figured he'd just ask every hot girl if it was her. If she was ugly and approached him, he just wasn't the guy who commented. It was foolproof and he was pretty proud. Getting another beer, Dylan leaned back and began to drink it. Smirking slightly, he sat alone and watched the door. None of the regulars or his buddies would be here for a good two or three hours, and so Dylan had very little to be concerned about.
Life was good.
