"Your job?" Dylan questioned, "what's that?" He racked his brain trying to think of all the jobs that might take someone to Cancun. Travel agent or a corporate business women were the only two he could come up with. When he was working in Mexico, the only people he met were on vacation. Of course, there were a few locals here and there, but none who were on business trips. So much for being quick on his feet.
Dylan caught the bartender's stare, and was amused. Here he was, sitting with the most beautiful woman, and she was interested in him. If that wasn't heaven, Dylan didn't want to go. This was the kind of girl he needed around. Every other guy in the room would be jealous, and Dylan wouldn't get bored. Not that he wanted to date her, but someone to go out with, and go home with? Where could he sign up?
But, there was something oddly familiar about her. Maybe she had been in a porno? Maybe that's why she was in Cancun? Or one of those spring break party hosts? No, she had said she didn't party. Thinking about this was frustrating, and Dylan decided to stop. Maybe he'd seen her before, maybe not. Either way, she was here now, and she was with him.
Shaking his head Dylan put down his beer glass. "No Astrid," he said, knowing you were supposed to use people's names to keep their attention. "Currently I own Fish For All Occasions, which is basically just a store to buy pet fish. Open it in the mornings, close it in the evenings, go upstairs for some dinner, and then head out somewhere. Not all that exciting. Where are you staying?" he inquired, actually interested in something a woman had to say.
Dylan couldn't help but let his mind wander to her hotel room... and him being in it... naked... with her... naked...
