Found: Pair of fancy-looking shoes left in the lobby. They’re black with a spikey kind of heel and strappy things. Not sure if that’s going to help at all? They look pretty new. Oh, and they say YSL on the inside. Should have mentioned that first. I’m assuming that’s a brand and not someone’s initials. Probably should have maybe re-written this, but my delete key’s on the fritz and half of the time it deletes everything I write. No idea why I added that last bit. Can’t delete any of this, damn it. Anyway, yes. So, if you’re missing some shoes even though you’d think they’d stay on your feet or else you’d know they were gone?, I have them in apartment 106. Ask for Evangeline, or Evan, because … that’s my name. I'm new here, so ... come get your shoes. Okay. No, no, Evan. Please. Sound more retarded. Have a nice day!

LOL No, not at all, I didn't mean to imply anything. Your shoes are safe though, so that's cool?

Feel free to borrow them any time.

I'm pretty sure you're just joshing, but if they're yours, come by and get 'em! I've never met a cross-dresser before, although one of the deputies in Clark County got caught in ladies' underpants. That's a story for another time, though. Or never, Evan. Or never.

No. That sounds like a story for right now.

Let's just say Deputy Miller should not have been wearing tear-away pants when he answered a call about a drunk and disorderly. Really, he should have just kept on working out and let some other Deputy take care of the idiots at the bowling alley, but no. He just couldn't resist. We don't get too many emergency calls in Clark County. We don't get too many anythings in Clark County.

Your turn of phrase and attention to detail is impressive. You should guest star on a children's show storytime hour.

Maybe that's my true calling. I'll call it "Tales from the Midwest" and talk about Clark County shenanigans. You could be my producer. What do you think?

Would it involve handpuppets? Or a magical train that takes us through Clark County while we wear red cardigans?

It could. Although all we'd really be able to say on the magical train ride is, "that there is the cow pasture, there's a broken tractor, and lookit here -- Deputy Miller without his pants on again!" I'm not sure how much kids would like it. But I wouldn't mind a red cardigan.
