SUNSHINE! and RAINBOWS! and PUPPY DOGS! Aren't we all glad we're BETTER PEOPLE NOW?

See that ooze dripping off your screen? That's called sarcasm.

Now. Who's up for some chaos?

Just along the left cheekbone. In Latin.

Better obedience training. Nothing gets a person to do what you tell them quite like a pack of wolves snarling and ready to rip their throat out.

Of course it's in Latin, what else would be appropriate?

I can see where that would be effective. Did you bring your pack with you?

Aramaic. But there was an issue regarding pigs at that time.

They're always around. They don't care for the city, of course, but they come to my call.

Really? What was the issue, if you don't mind me asking?

Very nice, you didn't come alone and that's a definite warning to anyone who might try to get on your bad side.

Got into a bit of a tiff with the big man of the day. He knocked me into a herd of pigs. Wasn't exactly my best hour, but really, anyone who wasn't dirt-poor and self-sacrificing was having a rough time while that guy was around.

Is there another side?

I think I've heard this story before, but this is an interesting adaptation.

Of course. Everyone is a moon, after all.

Stories. Pah. That's what happens when you trust books.

Unless they're the shadow.

Especially here, when the people from stories are alive and know the truth of said stories.

Very clever. But life itself is a walking shadow, not just one individual.

Interesting theory. Shadows are the negative image of light. In fact, one could say that shadow is the inverse of light. It's the presence of nothing, marked only by darkness.

Pretty grim outlook on life.

I like it.

You and Macbeth would have gotten along well then, as the outlook is his. I just borrowed part of it for this conversation.

And one could argue that its presence, its existence, does make it something. A shadow, even marked by darkness, still relies on the light to give it substance - the brighter the light, the deeper the shadow.

Shadows themselves are only one-sided. Which doesn't hold to your moon theory.

But does hold to my shadow theory.
