Thanks for the concern, but you couldn't be more wrong. This might be damn near impossible for you to wrap your pretty head around, but the firm has nothing to do with this marriage. I married Lindsey, not the firm, and he married me, not some warped idea. And another flaw in your logic? He married me knowing that I can't leave L.A., which I would expect to be a prerequisite in a mate who's sole purpose is to keep him away from an L.A.-based employer.

We're very much in love. I'm sorry if it hurts you to see it, but I've tried to be understanding, and frankly, it isn't my problem.

One last thing.

If he wanted to go back to the firm, I would support him, and he knows that. I might not agree with him, but at the end of the day, he is my husband. Likewise, I'm his wife. Get over it.

My pretty little head is fine but thanks for noticing. Look I'm not saying he doesn't love you, I'm sure he does. Thats the kind of guy Lindsey is, if he goes into something like that he'll mean it. He meant it with me and I suppose its the same with you.

Just different reasons I suppose. You were there when he needed to feel normal, feel like a good guy, hide away from the temptations. I was there for him when he needed someone to keep him level. To help him through, to fight the firm. I had my immortality ripped away because I loved him.

...and I never even got a real goodbye.

But thats not important now. You told me to be honest.

Don't be sorry, no ones fault but Angel's and I really doubt he wound up in a happy place with everything he's done. I'm hoping there's lava and things.

I don't know. I just hope thats enough. He's very important to me you know, and I know things about him that he probobly doesn't want you to see, Its not a bad thing and it doesn't even really mean he loves you any less, it just...its something you couldn't understand.
