Thanks for the concern, but you couldn't be more wrong. This might be damn near impossible for you to wrap your pretty head around, but the firm has nothing to do with this marriage. I married Lindsey, not the firm, and he married me, not some warped idea. And another flaw in your logic? He married me knowing that I can't leave L.A., which I would expect to be a prerequisite in a mate who's sole purpose is to keep him away from an L.A.-based employer.
We're very much in love. I'm sorry if it hurts you to see it, but I've tried to be understanding, and frankly, it isn't my problem.
One last thing.
If he wanted to go back to the firm, I would support him, and he knows that. I might not agree with him, but at the end of the day, he is my husband. Likewise, I'm his wife. Get over it.
