What is a 'shower'? Can't just be rain, because I can't take rain, eh?

A shower is a monster confined to a magical wall. It sprays water from it's huge nose into it's large mouth. The beast then swallows this water.

Mankind has learned to tame this beast for the purposes of bathing.

Bathe with a monster? Surely you people have buckets.

The monster's mouth actually is a giant sized bucket. Like I said, we tamed the beast quite a while back.

I'm not fond of the beasties. They eat you whole, the nasty buggers.

That's over the top! Some of my crew only bathed twice a year!

Now that's revolting.

You have a crew?

Aye. But they're not here, you see. We were separated at sea! Bloody traito

Oh yes…you’re the pirate.

I suppose in a matter of speaking I have lost my crew as well.

Showers. Baths. Whatever. They're overrated. Though they do come in handy if you want to attract women.

I don't need a bath to do that, mate. The women can't keep their hands off of me.

Sometimes you can get the women to shower with you.

Shower, a bath in which water is sprayed on the body, usually from an overhead perforated nozzle, a showerhead.

It's not a beast but an inanimate object. Just a tool like...like a mast! And it is very nice. You can adjust the temperature of the water while you bathe. No cold showers if you don't want one!

[info]whystherumgone

I had not heard of it either before I got here, In the Fire Nation we bathed, Its classier somehow, it still strikes me as some Peasant thing but I adjusted.

Did you figure out how its supposed to work yet?

Maintaining your personal hygiene is a very good thing, in my opinion. Not only does it help fight against illness, disease and bad odors, it also helps to maintain your overall well being.
