Out of Time Roleplay Community

To put it lightly, things were beyond ridiculous and completely incomprehensible. Saetan was perfectly healthy even without blood, and no vampire seemed to be restricted to their night-walking habits. It was very strange, and Daemon was having trouble processing it properly.

And that was why he had, like a somewhat obedient person, dropped a note in Ike's strange dropbox asking what in the name of the Darkness was going on around here. From there, it was double-checking that everyone was actually not dead, which was an important discernment to make, and from there...investigating. Sort of.

Which mostly just meant sitting on his ass with a cigarette and watching the clouds in their perfectly uniform shapes.

Eva found herself picking her away along the path to the town square under a bright but somewhat misty noon-day sun. The way the mist diffused the sunlight made everything kind of glow. It made her head hurt, and she was wearing glasses with smoked lenses to try and ease some of the discomfort but she still found herself squinting and walking with her head down.

She'd fallen asleep the previous afternoon and slept through the meeting with Ike, and she cursed herself for missing another opportunity to approach their strange jailor. But apparently she had needed the sleep, as she had slept like-- and the comparison made her uncomfortable-- the dead. Equally uncomfortable was the fact that she had fallen asleep during the day. She refused to become wholly nocturnal, in spite of her inclination to sleep through the painfully sunny hours and remain awake all night reading, exploring or planning how to carry out her personal research with limited tools.

So she was headed to the supermarket to see if she could find tea or medicine to help her sleep at the proper times.

Jack had had some interesting replies to his transmission and was feeling unexpectedly excited as he made his way to the village square in plenty of time for the arranged ten pm start of the meeting.

He settled himself against the wall of the supermarket, half sitting on the low, narrow window sill, and waited for people to turn up, trying not to get his hopes up that this time, they might actually manage something!

Sarah had woken up in a room to some apartment complex. Funny, she didn't remember dozing off let alone suddenly being in... well, most certainly not her own bedroom. Startled, and finding some little square thing with a screen, she pocketed it as she avoided people to get outside.

Honestly, she wasn't certain why she was avoiding people, just she suddenly seemed so confused. The Doctor had left her, and granted he dropped her off not in the location she had asked for which was typical of the Doctor, but this..? It didn't even look like England!

She stood at the edge of one of the buildings, peering outwards downtown. Surely there had to be a sign somewhere, right? Where was she!?

Day and Time: June 22nd, Morning to afternoon his cabin, afternoon into the evening in town.

The Doctor mumbled faintly nuzzling into his pillow with a sigh. "No Romana...can't go..there." He mumbled some more and rolled, smacking his hand on the nightstand hard enough to jerk him awake. He laid there blinking, before frowning. He sniffed lightly before taking a deep breath through his mouth and sitting up. "Noooo. Can't be." He looked around taking everything in. "It can be!" He pounced up out of the bed, unheeding of his state of undress and pulled open the curtains to let in day light and to look out. He let out a joyous laugh. "This is wonderful!" He turned back to his room. "Oh look at you... You really had my tastes in mind in here." He went to the closet and grinned, dressing swiftly. He spent a while exploring his new home till Martha called then made his swift way into town.

He grinned brightly and upon reaching the square didn't a little spin. "This is fantastic!" He laughed before taking off to explore more fully.
