Forgot to mention this at the meeting, once you find someone, check in here. We're going to need people to guard those we find, so the first pair who is able to bring their survivors back to the apartments, you're our guards until further notice. Everyone keep in pairs. We'll get something better figured out once we have everyone.

[John looks like a scared and worried 13-year-old. His eyes behind their square-framed glasses are very large. He also has a really, really large multicolored hammer behind him. His voice, when he speaks, is very small and uncertain. He may have been crying at one point.]

That c-can't have been real. It just can't have been. S-somebody who understands these blasted things t-tell me what kind of horrid trickery...[She doesn't sound scared, she sounds angry. But she's having trouble finishing her sentences, like her throat keeps closing.] Why would anyone d-do s-something like that?

WARNING: There will be murder and torture.

[Anyone who answers the ring on their phone at 3AM will notice static for a few seconds. Those who watch the subsequent message will see the same thing. Then suddenly the picture opens on an ugly face.]

My subjects. It seems things have not been running so well here. My brother apparently cares for you puny creatures. But that will change.

[The camera shifts and suddenly the view shows Ike, tied up to a pole, bloody and bruised, before switching back to the new face.]

But how rude of me, I've not introduced myself. I am Malsum. And I am here to restore the order that has been so long lacking. First, it seems a bit of sacrifice is in order.

[The camera shifts again to now pan across six people chained to a wall somewhere: Chuck, Bridget, Jack, Harmony, Eric, and Miller. Some are crying, others look angry. All are yelling before duct tape suddenly covers their mouths.]

Shh! None of that now. We want to make examples of you. And it's so hard to kill people when they're screaming. Now... who do I take first.

[The man pulls out a nasty looking knife and the viewers, if they are still watching, can see it travel back and forth along the group, tapping each chest as if trying to figure out who to take first. Finally, Malsum laughs an insane laugh and plunges the knife into Jack first, and then moves to Bridget, Eric, Harmony, Miller, and Chuck. The camera pans out again for all to see the dead. There's a cough and a very weak voice suddenly.]

You didn't have to kill them.

Shut up old man. You see that Chuck died quite easily. I can take you down too.

Ahem. Subjects. View your great Iktomi. The man who took away all your powers. Made you human. Look at him now... nothing but a shell of what he once was. I can be forgiving too. [Here there's a creepy smile]. I grant you all those powers you originally had. Back to your original states. It's not matter to me. None can harm me.

This sacrifice should hold me for a while, but make sure you prepare for the next one. Find someone to offer up, or I will pick, and you won't like my choice.

[Abruptly, the phone goes back to static before going dark.]

I'm Dr. Martha Jones. I... assisted Jack last night. He seems to have left my apartment this morning before I was able to finish giving him what he needed. If you see him, please tell him to call me.

First off, Dave, you don't know Panem. Ain't none of us there trained or nothin, an' we don't wanna fight each other. I was glad no one came to make an alliance with me. Secondly, Fend, bringin up Dave's appearance just wasn't fuckin right. Feelin threatened 'cos I'm friends with Dave is dumb and you're too smart for that. And y'don't wish death on anyone. Of anyone here, we should know that!

Thirdly, I love both of you. So no more fighting, find a way to f-fuckin co-exist. I don't gotta knit you into the same sweater but I don't wanna lose either one of ya.

Fend, I'm gonna be talkin to Dave whether you like it or not. Dave, I live with Fend and I'm his family, and that ain't gonna be endin anytime soon. Y' don't have to like each other but could you please try to get along for my sake?

I'd like to determine wheter it's medical or not, so if any of our former vampires or other non-humans would be willing to come to the clinic for some tests, you're welcome to stop by any time.

Hello! This is Doctor Evangeline Nix, for those of you who don't know me. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in exploring the outer boundaries of the settlement with me? I think it's just the sort of day for an expedition, I feel particularly keen to get outside today. We won't go very far, and won't stay out past dark, I promise. I'm not quite ready to try to track down whatever moves out amongst the trees at night.

[The voice is deep and almost soothing, minus the thinly veiled annoyance behind it. The message starts out with someone clearing their throat.]

*Ahem* This is Ike here to clear up a misunderstanding.

There will not, I repeat will not be a dance party on July 3rd.

There will however be a town meeting on July 1st at sunset. Dress is casual but clothing is required.

[The voice on the end of the line is a bit high pitched for a man's voice, and also somewhat nasal. The caller clears their throat and says as clearly as they can as if reading from a script]

[A pause to push glasses up his nose, there is a little clink of plastic on plastic when this happens, as it hits the receiver]

I'm looking for someone electronically inclined. There's a rudimentary PA system/alert in the hospital that I'm pretty sure leads up to the apartments above. So if I'm asleep and there's an emergency, you can push that and get ahold of me. Which I suppose is made unnecessary by the phones. But I'd still like to get it working.

Daemon Sadi and I have been discussing the idea of getting together everyone with any psychic power in the place and seeing if together they can't maybe punch a way out, or at least discover some more about the place. In fact, it could even be that the whole place is just a psychic construct.

Just a public service announcement to anyone stupid enough to have tripped and bumped their knee during all this, there's a doctors office, and I am in it. So is Martha. Bother us if you must, but keep it short since I want to go explore things.

There's nothing urgent in his face or voice, because this is the third time he's found himself somewhere new and it's losing its ability to faze him, but he's not completely relaxed either. Just checking in to make sure everyone's okay. Martha, Ianto, Eva, I've already spoken to you. Everyone else? You need anything, my name's on the phone list and I'm living in the house called 3W, over in that direction. [He turns so that the camera's pointing towards the west, the mountains visible over the buildings behind him.] I know we don't have any formal policing system any more, but I want you all to know you can call on me, any time, for assistance. No-one has to feel alone here.

Looks like we've been moved again. Eddie has not come with us by the looks of my phone. Any theories about what's going on? It does seem as though we're not going to be making it back. Especially with the note and the money. Which I've yet to use. Though, have you looked around the village yet. This place is a bit creepy.

Anyway, I seem to be living in one of two flats above the hospital. The plate on my door says 'Awanata'. A human/cyberman hybrid named Ton Phanan... who I apparently met before... lives in the adjacent flat. The hospital is a mess, so I will be staying there cleaning it up for the next few days. Unless of course we all get moved again.

[The video flickers on and it's pointed at the wall. Then the ceiling, and then it finally settles on a face that, for a moment, some may mistake for Saetan. Well, they'd be half-right, anyway. It's shaky, but finally Daemon gives up and uses Craft to keep the damned thing in the air, pointed at his face, and steady.]

Hello. This would be your friendly neighborhood Warlord Prince -- well, one of them, at least. By now, many of you have awoken to find yourselves as very confused as I am. Or you haven't woken at all, in which case, well, I do pity you, but may the Darkness be merciful.

It might just be me, but this note that we found on the nightstand under an image of the SaDiablo family was...rather vague and uninformative. Does anyone actually know where we are, aside from the useless details in the letter?

What I know is that this place feels more like home than the Castle ever did. These mountains look like Ebon Rih, if you ignore the lack of eyries and the distinct absence of the Keep. It's...I won't say it's nice, but it's a welcome change.

[He glances down for a moment, as though to collect himself.]

I don't know why we've been moved, but I think that whatever was keeping us captive at the other place was worried. I think we knew more than we realized we did, and it got nervous and took us somewhere else. Chances are minimal that we'll ever go back.

[That's Daemon. Ever the optimist.]

I don't know if anyone is seeing this, or hearing it, or anything of that nature. If you can, of course, please respond. I would like to hear your Thoughts and Opinions on this...change.
