Okay, I confess. I have no idea what I've got on my plate anymore. The last month I've been on several trips to plan/host a bridal shower, and while fun, it was hell on my tagging ability.

Two things re: the Wayne Halloween Party.

1. I've been wanting to do something different and instead of the usual big party/dance in the ballroom, instead I want to take the festivities onto the grounds and make it a carnival with games, rides, food, etc. The gardens behind Wayne Manor cover a few acres and include groves, a pond, and plenty of room in general for people to play.

I was wondering if people had any suggestions/requests for things they'd like to see there? A couple ideas so far include: A kissing booth, coin toss, a haunted grove, dunk tank, rides, food.

2. I've been asked to clarify costumes a couple times. Movie monsters: any movie, TV or film, that is generally Halloween theme will work, feel free to play fast and loose. I'm using two movies based on television series that were fairly comedic in nature, so don't feel burdened by 'rules'. Have fun!

This is my official notice I'll be going on ~HIATUS~ from August 17-25. The hubs and I are off to the east coast (ZOMG HEY KELLY!!!!!!!!!!! wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D) and then FanExpo is that weekend, so busy busy!

I did a lot of thinking about Felicia and her college life today and thanks to this I came up with the great idea to make her an R.A. for Empire State University. (In character it works because Felicia would do just about anything to avoid having a roommate and RAs get singles and out-of-character it gives me an excuse to have her interact with all the incoming freshmen she might have otherwise ignored out of snobbery.) I also worked on her schedule for the upcoming fall semester-- which made me realize she needed an internship figured out, which in turn lead to me pondering how on earth a renown incarcerated art thief's kid was going to get an internship that had any kind of relevance to the art history degree she's pursuing... but it's cool. I've got an idea that leads me to my next question--

Which players of rich-people-by-days (preferably based in NYC but elsewhere can be made to work too) would be amenable to having their character hunted down and schmoozed/pitched at by Felicia Hardy in their non-heroic/villainous alter-egos? Basically, she wants to convince your character to make a ridiculous donation to an art museum and mention her name/internship application while they do it. And I'm totally willing to play out multiple scenarios of this with different characters-- including pitches where she is not successful. (Though, obviously, those that refuse her will totally find their businesses robbed of something-or-other some day.)

I'm looking to get Rogue a job somewhere and was wondering if there was anyone hiring where it might not already be set in stone. She's got mechanic skills and stuff, but there's also the fact that she has a history with the law. It'd be fun to take her out of just some random side job and get her a job where she interacts with other people more often.

Alright kids, hi y'all! I thought I'd just put this out there. I'm going to be throwing up a Midtown High prom thread in the next few days here. It'll be open and big and basically for fun despite all that's been going down with registration. After all, they're still kids and they want to have their prom.

Since Peter is my char, and he attends Midtown, that's why I'm doing it for Midtown. If anyone wants to throw one up for their school? You totally should. Alright, so why am I telling you all this?

I wanted some ideas from those who are intending to throw their lot in with the thread. Basically this'll come as a way for everyone to kind of get a feel with what they want to do. A place we can all throw ideas down... you can discuss here who you want to go to the prom with your character, and maybe even set up threads around the main prom thread, such as the dinners (for example, Gwen/Peter will be having their own personal thread for the dinner prior), but that being said, maybe you want to set up a double date. We all know that with the departure of people, some potential prom-based dates might have been lost, so I figured here you'd get the opportunity to throw your hat in and work something out.

We play high school kids with super powers, but we also just play high school kids so they shouldn't be all 'Registration' bummed out, instead there should be a potential for them to live those High School lives as well. It makes sense some of them might try to use it as an 'escape', too. So anyway, I figured it'd be a fun plot for some of the teens to play out.

Hey guys, Rachel here and I'm finally back. First off, I want to apologize for the sudden disappearance during such a plot-heavy period, but life sneaks up on you sometimes. I know I have some scenes to tag into and a lot that I need to get working on, so if you need me or my wonderful cast (Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Huntress, Hal Jordan, Tigra) for anything, let me know here. It's going to take me a bit to get my head on straight, but I'm ready to tackle all the things!

After that painful slowatus, I'm preeetty much back on a regular schedule! That being said, I put together a little to-do list. Let me know if you want in or if I forgot something I said I'd do!

Alright, I really need to get some ducks in a row here. Having that two weeks off was great, but now I have no idea where to start jumping back into things!

First off, and most importantly, this backdated scene with Huntress and Joker leads to Huntress almost dying and also discovering something very, very important about her connection to the Joker. Nick and I are working on wrapping it up quickly, but basically, Huntress is going to be left bleeding to death in or just out of a burning building. I mention this because I would really like someone to come and, well, save her ass. Anyone out there want to volunteer? It doesn't necessarily have to be a scene, but someone is going to have to help her out.

That also means that right now, she's been in the hospital for five days. To make it easy, I'm going to say she's been unconscious and will soon be waking up. I will be putting up a thread for visitors that people can just tag into when they want to come and talk to Helena when she's awake. It will take place probably from the 7th to 12th just to give a lot of time for visits.

Gimme some love - is there something you'd like to do with Bruce/Bats, Pepper, or Lois? I know for sure that Lois and J. Drew still need to meet, and I've got some Lex/Lois plans and Bruce/Clark stuff that's been discussed, but I want to get my dance card filled up, especially with the Registration stuff.

When she was young she spent a lot of time with her cousin Roberto da Costa and her aunt Nina. When she was fourteen she saw her father beating her mother and her pyroplasmic powers manifested. She burned down her home and weeks later found herself the new girl at Xavier's. After she graduated from Xavier's she applied to SHIELD and was accepted and paired up with Tora Olafsdotter who at first she feared since she had ice magic and Bea was living flame! They soon became besties, agents and roommates.

Hi, guys! This is Mel with a third character: the mighty Thor...at least, half the time. I'm going a more comic-canon route (with a few mythological nods in there, because Norse Mythology is fun), wherein after tossing Thor out of Asgard, Odin slapped him with both amnesia and false memories to add to the object lesson. Because having a pissed off god wandering around isn't a great way to teach humility, apparently.

So, far as he knows, he's happy as a clam as Donald "Erik" Blake, trauma surgeon, with a few martial inclinations to be well-rounded. Except for the part where he's starting to have these weird blackouts; Thor is starting to punch through the spell, having moments where he remembers everything and has access to his full powers (and Ye Olde English), and is starting to be aware in general. (Whether he's more than one person or not, though, is complicated.)

What does this mean for plot? Well, for those who'd have prior interactions with Thor, that certainly could have happened during one of his "dibs on the body" moment; depending on a Loki-player depends on how involved he was with some plots, but he was certainly around for Frost Giants, hammer and all. Whether he's gotten onto the news or wider awareness or not is still up in the air - he tends to vanish quickly when the crisis is over, due to Spell/Erik taking over.

For new plots, it means you can have a team-up with Thor, or you can wander into Mercy Hospital and get stitched up by the good doc, or anything between!

(Need clarity, because I may have confused myself there as well - email's always a way to get in touch with me, but I'm around on AIM much more due to reduced class schedule!)

Hey guys! Being that I finished the exam early and got all caught up with classes (how did that happen, I don't even...) I'm now at negative stress levels! And. Y'know. Ready to plot and post again.
