I know this is completely bizarre, but since I rushed my intro last time because of work, I don't think I really got it all the way out there. I've discussed a bit of backstory with some of you already, but nothing concrete yet and so I'm throwing this up to intro more Peter than myself.
So here's the deal with Pete. He attended Midtown High where he graduated (top) of his class... Gwen's not here so he's claiming it. He was asked to speak at graduation obviously, and happily relinquished those duties to Gwen because he wasn't a fan of pissing himself in front of the whole school.
That being said, Peter happened to live a happy duality with his life as Spider-Man. He's friends with the Titans as Spider-Man and many of them as Peter, and he had connections with others through midtown and throughout New York because of this. None of them knew him as both though, he's good like that.
Anyway, Peter went onto ESU where he double majored in Biochem and Mechanical Engineering. Graduated with top honors and went onto a Masters program at ESU which he's in now.
Gwen and him were dating but then she got a scholarship to Oxford and much to his chagrin, he bit the bullet finally and encouraged her to go. Well obviously long distance doesn't really work and so they 'split', though they do visit each other still as friends. When the opportunity arises of course.
As Spider-Man, he roosts in New York obviously, but he's probably bled into other cities at times as he tends to go where the criminal trail leads him and doesn't really care too much about boundaries, but does claim New York as 'his town'.
So all of that being said, I'm absolutely desperate for some long time backstory; people he knew back in High School, or who are friends with the Titans people and so inevitably began to become friends with Peter, or even Spidey. But Spidey it's obvious, Peter's where I'm a bit more desperate and it's a bit more difficult to establish. So I realize a second intro is completely unorthodox, but I wanted to make sure people got a good sense of where my character is and some of what I hope to do with him.
