Hey dudes and dudettes!!!!
I'm Liz playing this here sword-wielding HBIC Rose Wilson. I'm super excited to be playing here since I have a few old Twitter RP buddies representing <3
And of course, I'm excited to bring the number one Mean Girl into New Alliance! :D
Also, if any y'all are technologically literate and/or good at Photoshop, would you mind showing me how to paste an eyepatch on my PB? TY in advance!

Hello everyone! Name's Matt, and I'm bringing you your friend neighborhood Spider-Man! (The crowd goes... silent).
ANYWHO. I've talked to some of you already about potential back story; however, I know that you had a Peter prior to me, and he was pretty active it sounds like. So if you have any established back story with Peter, please let me know and I'll be happy to get that moving! The only notable thing I can think of that changed is he lives in New York instead of Gotham now. But that shouldn't hurt it all too much.
Anyway, for those of you who have no idea what a Spider-Man is... first shame on you, and secondly, he's a 17 year old boy named Peter Parker who is attending Midtown High School. A bit of a nerd who lacks confidence in most social settings, and generally masks this through quick wit and bad jokes, and a heavy dose of sarcasm.
He's a nerd and a half, and has one giant scientific brain--in fact, it's on genius levels. Unfortunately, Peter tends to use this only to get by in High School with good grades; while, rarely applying it elsewhere. Such as looking into college, or using it to help his Super career along. Granted, he's constructed his own web shooters, and has used it at times to stop the occasional bad dude.
Unfortunately, Peter likes to rely on his skills a bit too much a lot of the time and can get a bit overly cocky... when fighting crime. This cockiness is, again, kind of a way to hide the insecurities, where he always feels like he's going to somehow fail.
He's not overly ambitious all the time, and spends his days worrying more about social life, being Spider-Man, and doing everything perfectly that he tends to get bogged down and ends up fucking EVERYthing up. He'll let failures cripple him at times, and often takes on far more than he can chew.
But he's super loyal, super friendly, and if he puts his mind to it can actually kick a fair bit of ass; that all being said, here's Peter Parker aka Spider-Man!

I'm also on the look out for a best mate for Peter. Or at least a few of them, but really that one where he's known for awhile and bounces things off of throughout life. Preferably both a male and a female one, since Peter's the sort to usually have emotional bullshit and a lot of Spidey's greatest story strengths are the supporting casts in his comics.
So if anyone's looking to jump into that role, I'm taking applications. Applicants have to be able to take a lot of snark, and be ready for late night emo shit--well maybe not that, I'm not Sam Raimi.
